Hello to Grandad Brown! The can says:
We still can't get over the love for our humble English Brown Ale. The first beer we brewed and still delivering classic flavours of caramel, coffee, chocolate and nuts, balanced by Australian hops. A hint of sweetness, a touch of caramel rye, low bitterness and a glowing reddish-brown pour make Grandad Brown love the biggest glass you've got.
ABV 4.5%
Hops - Superpride
Malts - Crystal, Crystal Dark, Coopers Ale, Chocolate, Amber, Caramel Rye & Rolled Oats.
We carefully tweaked our brown ale by slightly increasing the finishing gravity and by using a low percentage of caramel rye in the malt bill to add interesting complexity and a gentle caramel through the entire palate.
Every batch of Grandad Brown is openly fermented, as is still done in some English ale breweries, and undergoes a secondary fermentation in the can or keg to naturally carbonate the beer, improve mouthfeel, increase flavour stability and test our skills!
At the brewery, shipping to our usual legend bottleshops and going online.

PECAN MILK COFFEE STOUT - so we increased the size

PECAN MILK COFFEE STOUT - so we increased the size of the team for this year's Coffee Stout. Artisti Coffee Roasters has supplied it's premium beans & Stahmann Farms at Moree loaded us up with pecans. The aroma is black coffee with a creamy body of malty chocolate and refined coffee amongst a layer of nutty goodness. Roaster, Farmer & Brewer.

We steeped the pecans late in the fermentation to add a nutty milky slickness to the body that has produced almost a liquer quality. ☕The coffee was added after the beer was chilled giving an intense coffee aroma before softer coffee notes blend with the dark malts and pecans in perfect balance.
No lactose added just nuts. This stout is still on the sweeter side though! 🍺ABV - 6.2%

Reopening(!!) this week for take-away sales. Thursday to Sunday 10am to 4pm. We've got a new shipment of 1 L squealer bottles and some new tap only beers. Also an annual favourite with a new nutty tweak is coming out tomorrow.
Only takeaway sales at this stage so no pints...or sit in beers.
